If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Pick up from Hanoi
If you book the transfer service (extra fee needed), you will be picked up at your hotel in the Ols Quarter or Opera House then travel to Halong.
11:30 - 12:00 | Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor
Get to the pier and get on a tender to transfer to Verdure Lotus Luxury Cruise. Enjoy your welcome drink on board and listen to the cruise briefing and safety introduction.
Have lunch
After checking in your cabin, enjoy a fabulous lunch while the ship sails toward Lan Ha Bay - a trendy destination, pass by the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and numerous limestone islands.
Explore the Ba Trai Dao/Tra Bau Area
In the afternoon, you may visit the stunning Ba Trai Dao Beaches to go swimming or visit the natural Tra Bau Area for a wonderful kayaking experience.

Happy Hour & Cooking Class
Return to the Verdure Lotus Cruise and relax. Later at sunset, you can enjoy the Happy Hour (Buy 01 get 01 free) and take photos of the scenery.
Guests can take part in the Cooking demonstration to try making fresh or dried Spring rolls and experience fruit carving.
Dinner time - Leisure
It’s time to enjoy delicious local food served by the on-board catering staff in the restaurant. Then, you’ll have free time to try squid fishing, drink at the bar, have a massage, or simply relax in your room.

You can wake up early to sightsee the glorious sunrise or participate in a Tai Chi class. Later, have a light breakfast with tea & coffee to refill your energy for the day.

Travel to the charming Dark & Bright Cave area. This palace is perfect for enjoying bamboo boating or kayaking and take a look at the magnificent limestone mountains and the emerald sea.

After the short trip, get back to Verdure Lotus and check out of your room. As Verdure Lotus Luxury slowly cruises back to the pier, enjoy your last brunch on board and enjoy the pretty scenery.
11:00 - 11:30 | Disembark
You’ll reach Tuan Chau Harbor before noon, get off the ship, and say goodbye to the friendly staff.
14:30 - 15:00 | Return to Hanoi
Get on your shuttle bus (book with an extra fee) and return to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel and end the trip.

Pick up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Opera Theatre House for those who book the transfer service (not included) and travel to Halong.
11:30 - 12:00 | Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor
Upon reaching the pier, you will be transferred to Verdure Lotus Luxury Cruise by tender. Embark on Verdure Lotus Luxury Cruise.
While enjoying the welcome drink, the cruise manager will deliver a cruise briefing and safety introduction.
Enjoy a fabulous lunch
After checking in the cabin, lunch will be served while the ship sails into magnificent Lan Ha Bay - an extension of Ha Long Bay which is quieter and has fewer tourists.
We’ll pass the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of unique limestone islands.
Visit Tra Bau/Ba Trai Dao
In the afternoon, guests will either swim on Ba Trai Dao Island or visit Tra Bau to join the kayaking experience to explore the area - the famous filming location for the King Kong film in 2018.

Back to the main ship and relax. Let’s enjoy the Happy Hour (Buy one get one free) and take photos of the charming sunset.

Morning Activities
For early risers, don’t miss the Taichi class on the sundeck and sightsee the sunrise. Go to the restaurant and have a light breakfast with tea, coffee with fresh air, and peaceful surroundings.
Discover Viet Hai Village
You will be transferred to the day boat to go further to Cat Ba Island.
Let’s start the journey to discover Viet Hai village - a peaceful village with extremely beautiful scenery by bike, through vast rice fields. Then stop to rest and visit the old house made from straw, mud, bamboo, etc, and find out about the lives of local people.

Lunchtime
Return to the day boat around noon. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.
Relax in Ba Trai Dao
The cruise takes you to the pristine Ba Trai Dao Beach. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay, with amazing white sand and fewer tourists, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activities here.
Unwind on board
Return to Verdure Lotus Cruise. You will be watching the sunset fall on Lan Ha Bay, immersed in soothing or vibrant music, sipping a cocktail in the Happy Hour.
Guests can also join the cooking class to learn how to make spring rolls and carve different kinds of vegetables and fruits.
Enjoy dinner - Free time
After a fulfilling dinner, enjoy the nightlife from the deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, try squid fishing, sing karaoke, and relax on the cruise, etc.

We will visit the Dark & Bright Cave – famous for its pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape.
This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boating or kayaking, which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the geology here.

After the cave tour, get back to the Verdure Lotus Luxury for check-out. Then you’ll have brunch while the ship slowly cruises to the pier.

The manager on board went out of his way to ensure that the few of us who weren't part of the tour group were given priority.
