If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
08:00 - 08:30 | Pick-up time
If you book the transfer service, a driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter (an extra fee applies). Then, we will drive about three hours to reach Halong Bay.
12:00 | Boarding the cruise
We reach Halong Ruby Cruise’s waiting lounge in Tuan Chau Harbor. From here, a tender boat will take you on the cruise ship. Upon boarding, a refreshing welcome drink is served and then you can check into your cabin.
Have Lunch
Let’s enjoy a warm set menu lunch in the restaurant onboard while you admiring the amazing scenery of Halong Bay. Cruise amongst numerous islands, and you will pass by iconic spots like Duck and Thumb islets.
Visit Luon Cave
In the afternoon, our boat will stop in the majestic Luon Cave area for an intriguing excursion. By kayaking or sitting on a bamboo boat, you have the opportunity to explore the pretty lagoons and get closer to the imposing limestone islands.

Explore Titop Island
Next, we will visit Titop Island, which is well-known for its gorgeous beach. There, you can swim in the clear emerald water or hike to the top of the island to get an overview of the charming bay.
Afternoon tea & cooking class
As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to Ruby Cruise and relax. Coffee, tea, and fruits will be available on sundeck, or you can order your favorite drink while our boat cruises to the anchor spot.
Or you can join the guide, who will guide you through making fresh spring rolls at the cruise restaurant. Afterward, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor right away.
Have Dinner
In the evening, dinner be served with local seafood. Afterward, you may enjoy a drink from the bar or top deck or experience squid fishing before sleeping in your cabin.

Have breakfast
You can wake up early to enjoy the morning view of the beautiful landscape with a cup of coffee or tea. Then, have breakfast to recharge your energy.
Explore Sung Sot Cave
Today, you will visit one of the most impressive Cave of Halong Bay: Surprising Cave (Sung Sot in Vietnamese) with your tour guide. This is a truly awesome cave to experience with sparkling stalactites and stalagmites everywhere.

Check out - Brunch time
Then we will return on board to check out of the cabin around 9:00 and settle the bill as Ruby Cruise cruises back to the harbor. Later, savor your brunch while viewing other areas of Halong Bay such as Fighting Cocks Island, Incense Burner, Stone Dogs. etc
11:00 | End of the journey
Guests depart the Halong Ruby Cruise and travel by tender boat back to the waiting lounge in Tuan Chau Marina and relax.
14:00 - 14:30 | Back to Hanoi
Get in your transportation at the lounge and return to Hanoi (transfer service needs an extra fee). Stop at your hotel in the Old Quarter and continue your next trip.

08:00 - 08:30 | Travel from Hanoi
A shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (request with an extra charge). After that, we leave Hanoi for approximately 3 hours to Halong Bay.
12:00 | Boarding Time - Lunch
You arrive at the waiting lounge at Tuan Chau Marina. Then, a tender boat will transport you to Halong Ruby Cruise. Have a pleasant welcome drink then you can check into your cabin.
Later, a set menu meal is served in the restaurant as you take in the breathtaking panorama of the hundreds of islands in the fascinating bay.
Explore Luon Cave
After 2.5 hours of cruise, we will arrive at the beautiful Luon Cave, one of Halong's most beautiful caverns. Kayaking here allows you to explore the gorgeous lagoons and approach closer to the islands and nature.
Unwind on Titop Island
Then, guests will visit the stunning Titop Island. You may swim or hike to the summit of the mountaintop for a 360-degree view of the bay. Both activities are highly recommended.

Onboard Activities
As the sun sets across the bay, we return to Ruby Cruise and unwind. The sundeck will have coffee, tea, and fruits, and you can order drinks to relax. Alternatively, you can join the cooking class and make Spring rolls in the restaurant.
Dinner - Free time
Have s tasty dinner, served with local seafood. After the meal, you may choose to enjoy drinks from the bar or experience squid fishing before resting in your cabin.

Morning Activities
Let’s enjoy the grand morning view of Halong Bay with a cup of coffee or tea. Then, have breakfast in the fresh air and get yourself ready for the day.
Visit Trinh Nu Cave
We leave the Ruby Cruise and board a day boat and cruise to explore the Southern part of Halong Bay.
The first stop is Trinh Nu Cave, an amazing spot for a kayaking trip. Let’s navigate around and discover the unspoiled nature and the outstanding landscape of the surrounding areas of this cave.

Lunchtime
Afterward, guests may finish kayaking and go to the next stop - the Ba Trai Dao area. Enjoy your lunch on the day boat, which is served by the friendly crew team.
Swim on Ba Trai Dao Beach
We reach the pristine Ba Trai Dao islet. Travelers will have a free and relaxing swimming moment on one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay.
Pearl Farm Excursion
On the way back to the main ship, we will pass by Flog Stone, Satan Stone. The boat will take you to the Pearl Farm, where you can learn about the intriguing pearl cultivation process of locals amid the sea.
Free time on board
You will return to the cruise, which anchor at Titop Island. During the sunset hours, you can enjoy the afternoon tea party or take part in the Vietnamese cooking class.
Dinner & Leisure Time
Get to the restaurant and reward yourself after an active day with a delicious dinner. Then, feel free to have some drinks, squid fishing, or chill out in your cabin.

Morning

Afterward, your guide will take you to the stunning Sung Sot Cave (Surprising in English), which is an unforgettable experience. The unique and grandeur of the rock formations inside will leave you in awe.

Get back to Ruby Cruise, you may check out of your cabin and settle the bill around 9:00 - 9:30. The ship will cruise back to the port and brunch will be served at the same time.
11:00 | Disembark
Guests get on the tender boat and get back to the waiting lounge in Tuan Chau Marina. Now you can wait for your transfer service (book with an extra fee)
14:00 - 14:30 | Stop at Hanoi
After approximately a 3-hour drive, you will reach your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Let’s get off and end the tour.
