If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!
Cruise Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 | Pick-up Time
If you book the transfer service (extra fee needed), your driver will pick you up at your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel and transfer you to Halong Bay.
11:00 - 11:30 | Embark - Have Lunch
As you arrive at Lot 32 Tuan Chau Marina, please check in at the waiting room and then take a tender or speed boat to Nostalgia Cruise.
The cruise staff will welcome you with a drink and the ship's management will give you an explanation of the safety instructions and cruise briefing.
Then, savor a delectable lunch while the Nostalgia Cruise sails toward Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.
Explore Dark & Bright Cave/Ba Trai Dao
We progress to Dark and Bright Caves - a must-visit destination! Kayaking through these caves is the ultimate way to experience the breathtaking beauty of the bay up close.
Option 2: Discover Ba Trai Dao, where tranquil waters and picturesque landscapes create an idyllic setting for kayaking or unwinding on a sandy shore. Take pleasure in a refreshing swim in the emerald-green waters. (If the weather permits)
Have fun with kayaking activity
Stop at Tra Bau - Onboard activities
Head to a remote section, the Tra Bau area, which is deep within the pristine waters. This untouched landscape is worth to be discovered.
Stay on Nostalgia Cruise, you may unwind on the top deck, take in the breathtaking sunset, take part in a culinary class, or enjoy the Happy Hour.
Optional: Massage service is also another choice so make your reservation head with the cruise manager.
Have Dinner - Nightlife Fun
Enjoy a luxurious dinner that features the best foods in a cozy, romantic atmosphere. A tea ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and its culture at this ceremony.
Following supper, you may go up to the terrace to take in the breathtaking night views of the Bay, enjoy a drink at the bar, and get a massage. If not, engage in evening pursuits like playing cards, watching movies, listening to music, or going squid fishing.

Take a refreshing Tai Chi class to kick off your second day. Then, you may have a light breakfast in the restaurant.
Visit Trung Trang Cave
The first destination of the trip is Trung Trang Cave, a masterpiece that is unique in Cat Ba Island. There are hundreds of naturally occurring stalactites forming a breathtaking panorama within the cave that will leave you in amazement.

9:45 | Check Out - Have Brunch
It's time to return to the ship, pack your bags, and get ready for the checkout process. As the boat returns to Tuan Chau Marina, savor a delicious brunch and enjoy the last moments on the bay.
11:00 - 11:30 | Disembark
Depart at the port and say goodbye to the cruise staff. You will be picked up in a shuttle bus and taken to Hanoi (need an extra fee for the transportation).
14:30 - 15:00 | Return To Hanoi
After traveling for around 2.5 hours, you will arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. This marks the end of the journey.

8:00 - 8:30 | Morning Pick-up
A limousine or shuttle bus will transfer you directly from Hanoi Old Quarter to Halong Bay (not included in the cruise price). There will be a short break along the way.
11:00 - 11:30 | Depart - Have Lunch
Please proceed to the waiting lounge to finish the check-in process once you get to the Tuan Chau Marina. Then, you will join the tender to board the luxury Nostalgia Cruise.
You will receive a welcome drink from the staff and listen to the cruise manager's briefing about the safety instructions. A delicious lunch will be served to you in the restaurant while the ship cruises to Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.
Explore Dark & Bright Cave/Ba Trai Dao
We progress to Dark & Bright Caves, one of the most beautiful attractions in Lan Ha. Let's kayak through this cave and experience the breathtaking beauty of nature up close.
Option 2: Discover Ba Trai Dao, a top spot for kayaking or unwinding on a sandy shore. Take pleasure in a refreshing swim in the emerald-green waters. (If the weather permits)
Late-afternoon Activities
The ship anchors overnight at the Tra Bau area. On board, you may opt to learn about Vietnamese cooking classes or enjoy Happy Hour, when you can buy 1 drink and get another for free.

Have Dinner - Free time
The talented chefs will deliver a classy dinner with fresh dishes for tourists. Then there will be a tea ceremony where you will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and its fascinating culture.
After that, it's time to take in the breathtaking views of the bay at night while sipping cocktails at the bar, playing chess and cards, or trying squid fishing.

Join a Tai Chi class to begin your day and let the exercise awaken your body and mind. After that, fuel up with a healthy breakfast before setting out on the morning adventure.
Visit Viet Hai Village
Pack your necessary items then get on a day boat to reach Cat Ba Island. Today's first stop is Viet Hai Village, one of the biggest fishing communities in Vietnam.
You may explore the area on a bike or an electric cart, and stop along the route to see rice fields, mysterious tunnels, and rainforests. When you visit the old local home here and learn a great deal about village life.
Explore Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island
Enjoy Lunch
Return to the day boat after that, and have a delectable meal. Then you may relax for a bit before joining the next activity.
Visit Ba Men Temple
We will visit the unspoiled Ba Men Temple, a peaceful peaceful body of water that has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.
Onboard Activities
Come back to the ship after your experience and take part in a traditional cooking session to learn how to make some delectable Vietnamese food.

It's time to get back to the Nostalgia Cruise and start the process of checking out. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious brunch and treasure the last moments you have with the bay view as the ship returns to the pier.
11:00 - 11:30 | Disembark
You will leave Nostalgia Cruise Halong Bay and return to Tuan Chau Port to await a shuttle to Hanoi (need an extra fee).
14:30 - 15:00 | Return To Hanoi
Your journey will come to an end when you return to your accommodation in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Nostagia - A wonderful cruise
The tour guide is funny, friendly, and enthusiastic. The staff on the ship are extremely friendly, cheerful, and kind. Especially Vy Vy, a lovely girl. I went with a baby and she knows how to take care of the baby for my family.
This was an unforgettable vacation and I will definitely come back many times.
